Yes…believe it or not…it actually SNOWED at Grambling. To my unofficial count…it snowed for at least 4 hours straight. The last time it snowed, if I remember correctly, was February of 2004. I may not be completely accurate, as I’ll have to do some hunting for the last snow picture I took, but I do remember it snowing somewhere along those lines.
Of course, snowball fights were going crazy. They were so crazy that the police officers tried to come break up some of them. Unfortunately…some of them were pelted with snowballs as well. The funniest thing was when the cops started arresting students. Very interesting day! But rest assured…it was a day that the students of GSU will not forget!

I’m doing some random surfing and I came across this new phone that Nokia is trying to develop. Interesting. It’s a morphing phone. It’ll allow you to shift it from a standard cell phone shape to a wrist watch or whatever your mind desires.
The crazy thing is…it’s not even coming out this year…or any time soon at that. Tapani Ryhanen, head of Nokia’s multimedia devices research, said the experiment is 11 years away from being complete.
“Our concept device is just to illustrate what this technology could mean, but most likely it is not exactly the device we will develop based on our work,” Ryhanen told Fortune.
I won’t be the first to buy one of these, as I’ll need all the kinks worked out of it, but I’ll more than likely get one. The question is, will gas prices in the future stop me from buying them?

By now, everyone has seen it or heard of it. It’s the photo that has caused a firestorm of backlash for the Hillary Clinton campaign and possibly added more deterrents to the Obama campaign.
Either way, it appears that the photo has dominated the mainstream media for a few days. The sad part about the whole incident is no one is taking blame for it, and no one is saying exactly where it came from.
As a journalist, I am getting kind of disgusted by the constant coverage of Obama/Clinton. While I am a Democrat, I feel that there are more things happening that do not involve Obama/Clinton that need to be covered. If all this coverage is going on now, what will it be like in June when we know for sure who is running?
I agree that this is an important race, but I am not trying to have an, as CNN called it, Obama/Clinton Media Lovefest. Can we stick to some other news for a little while?
